MLA Bhullar flags off 5th bus to Amritsar under MMTY Yojana
Ferozepur, February 15, 2026: Ranbir Singh Bhullar today flagged off the fifth bus carrying devotees from the Ferozepur Urban constituency to Amritsar under Mukhtar Mantri Tirath Yatra Yojana. The bus was ceremonially sent off with a green flag, marking another phase of the state-sponsored religious tour.
MLA Bhullar said the objective of the scheme is to provide free and comfortable pilgrimage facilities to devotees, especially senior citizens and economically weaker sections. He informed that some devotees from village Tediwala are travelling for the first time under the scheme and will be taken to prominent religious and heritage sites.
The itinerary includes visits to Sri Harmandir Sahib, Durgiana Mandir and Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthal. Besides religious places, the pilgrims will also be shown the Partition Museum, Jallianwala Bagh and the Retreat Ceremony at the Wagah Border.
Ranbir Singh Bhullar said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is ensuring that pilgrims are provided free transportation, accommodation, meals and other essential facilities during the journey so that they do not face any inconvenience.
He extended his best wishes to the devotees embarking on the pilgrimage and expressed hope that the scheme would continue to benefit people across the state.
