Haryana Promotes 4 IPS Officers to DIG Rank

Chandigarh, April 10, 2026:
The Haryana Government has issued orders promoting four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers of the 2012 batch from the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) to Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) in Level-13A of the pay matrix with immediate effect.
According to the official notification dated April 9, 2026, the promoted officers are:
- Jashandeep Singh Randhawa, IPS (HY:2012-RR)
- Currently on central deputation with the CBI, Government of India (w.e.f. August 17, 2024)
- Deepak Gahlawat, IPS (HY:2012-RR)
- On central deputation in Civil Aviation, Government of India
- Posted as BCAS Headquarters (w.e.f. August 8, 2024)
- Sumer Pratap Singh, IPS (HY:2012-RR)
- SSP/Traffic & Security, UT Chandigarh (w.e.f. March 11, 2024)
- Sunil Kumar, IPS (HY:2012)
