Himachal Breaking: 12 injured as HRTC bus crashes after brake failure

Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh), April 12, 2026: At least 12 passengers were injured after a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus met with an accident due to alleged brake failure.
According to reports, the bus was en route from Dharamshala to Hoshiarpur with around 50 passengers on board when its brakes suddenly failed. The vehicle went out of control, first colliding with a car and then crashing into a hillside.
Three of the injured are reported to be in critical condition. All the injured passengers were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
