In a major push towards promoting fitness, sustainable mobility, and community participation, Nangal By Cycle (NBC) on Wednesday unveiled the official poster of its flagship cycling event, “Bhakra Ride 2.0,” being organized in collaboration with Fit India Movement and Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB).
The poster launch ceremony was held at the BBMB headquarters in Chandigarh in the presence of senior officials, including Virender Kulharia, Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer (FA & CAO), BBMB, and Rajiv Shahi, Director HRD, BBMB.
Representing NBC at the event were trustees Karan Chaudhary, Neeraj Kaushal, and Advocate Tarun Chaudhary.
Speaking on the occasion, BBMB officials appreciated NBC’s consistent efforts in encouraging a healthy lifestyle, promoting cycling culture, and strengthening community engagement through such initiatives. They also assured continued support from BBMB for the successful organization of the event.
“Bhakra Ride 2.0” is being planned as a large-scale community cycling event to commemorate World Bicycle Day and is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from cycling enthusiasts, fitness advocates, youth, and residents from across the region.
The initiative aims to spread awareness about health, environmental sustainability, and the importance of active living through cycling.
