- Pakistan High Commission denies visas to 1481 pilgrims for Nankana Sahib

  Pakistan, November 9, 2024: The Pakistan High Commission in India has reportedly rejected 1481 visa applications, leaving many devotees unable to celebrate Guru Nanak Dev' birth anniversary at his birthplace Nankana Sahib.
  
  On the occasion of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Purab, 2244 passports were sent by the SGPC Amritsar for pilgrims visiting Pakistan. As per the information, only 763 visas have been issued.
