Chandigarh, March 23, 2026: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, alleging that its claims of honesty have been exposed and that it has lost credibility among the people.
Speaking to mediapersons after inaugurating an agriculture fair in Hisar, Saini said that the people of Punjab are becoming increasingly disillusioned due to unfulfilled promises and allegations of corruption.
He asserted that Haryana is emerging as a model of development, with its policies benefiting farmers, traders, women, and youth. “The impact of welfare initiatives is directly reaching the common people, and the state is moving steadily on the path of progress,” he said.
The Chief Minister also highlighted a recent policy aimed at providing relief to traders, stating that it has helped reduce unnecessary litigation and improve the business environment.
Emphasising the role of the “double-engine government,” Saini said that coordinated efforts between the Centre and the state are accelerating Haryana’s growth.
Responding to a query on new crop procurement registration rules, he assured that the government has directed officials to simplify the process to ensure that farmers do not face any inconvenience.
