The District Magistrate stated that after reviewing the proposal from the Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural), and assessing all supporting evidence, including documents and audio materials, she is convinced that Amritpal Singh poses a grave and imminent danger to public order if released.
As per protocol, Amritpal Singh has the right to challenge the detention order through a written representation to the concerned authorities, including the District Magistrate, the Punjab State Government, the Advisory Board, and the Central Government.
