  Ottawa, April 28, 2025: A total of 72 South Asian candidates are running in 37 ridings.
  
  For Conservatives 29, Liberals 21, NDP 11, Green 4 PPC 7. 32 are running in Ontario, 24 in BC, 15 in Alberta and 1 in Qubec. According to predictions 15 are likely to win. Where as some others are predicting victory for 22 to 24 candidates.
