Mohali Medical College revises OPD timings from April 1
Registration to Begin at 7:30 AM

Mohali (Punjab), March 30, 2026: The Dr. BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital has announced revised working hours, with new timings set to come into effect from April 1, 2026.
According to an official spokesperson, the institute will now operate from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, aligning its schedule with other government medical colleges across Punjab.
The spokesperson further informed that registration counters for OPD slips will open earlier at 7:30 AM and remain functional until 11:30 AM, ensuring smoother patient flow during morning hours.
Emergency services at the hospital will continue to function round-the-clock, as per existing arrangements.
Authorities clarified that the revised schedule applies only to the Mohali-based institute, and no changes have been made to the working hours of other government health institutions in the district.
