MLA Bhullar distributes financial aid to accident-affected farmers
Ferozepur, March 30, 2026: MLA Ferozepur Urban, Ranbir Singh Bhullar, distributed financial assistance cheques to farmers injured in thresher accidents and to the families of deceased farmers.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhullar said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to the welfare of every section of society. He stated that financial assistance has been extended to families affected by agricultural accidents.
Among the beneficiaries, Gurdeep Singh, son of Kesar Singh, a resident of village Rame Wala, received ₹48,000; Lakhwinder Singh, son of Mehal Singh from village Maste Ke, was given ₹36,000; while Roop Singh, son of Pyara Singh of village Bandala, was provided ₹3 lakh as compensation following the death of a family member due to electrocution.
Bhullar reiterated that the Punjab Government stands firmly with farmers and labourers and remains committed to supporting families affected by such unfortunate incidents.
Chairman of the Market Committee, Balraj Singh Katora, and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
