A shop launched by Lakshya, a Cluster Level Organization of Block Saroya, at Maujowal Majara village, marks a significant milestone in fostering self-employment opportunities for rural women.
Inaugurated by Constituency MLA Santosh Kataria, the initiative is a testament to the power of collective effort in driving positive change.
As noted by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Avneet Kaur, self-help groups have been instrumental in providing rural and domestic women with a platform for economic empowerment.
By leveraging these groups, women can acquire new skills, assert their independence, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
The event highlighted the growing demand for products crafted by women under the self-help groups, including pickles, jams, phulkari, decorative items, and embroidered clothing.
With access to training, loans, and exhibitions, these women are poised to become catalysts for transformative growth in their regions.
As Constituency MLA Santosh Kataria aptly observed, women's empowerment through self-help groups is pivotal in unlocking their potential and fostering a brighter future for all.
