Chandigarh, November 19, 2025: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government marked Women Entrepreneurship Day by organising “Women Honour Programmes” across Punjab with enthusiasm and pride. Held under the theme “Empowered Women, Strong Women,” the events witnessed participation from hundreds of women entrepreneurs who shared their experiences in enterprise, leadership, and community service.
At the district-level event in Moga, AAP Punjab Women Wing President and MLA Dr. Amandeep Kaur Arora presided as the chief guest and honoured women entrepreneurs for their contributions to the state’s economic growth.
Dr. Arora highlighted the Punjab government’s policies and future plans aimed at advancing women-led businesses. She said the day was dedicated to all women who, despite limited resources, continue to uplift their families, communities, and the state through their determination and hard work.
District President Mandeep Kaur, District Secretary Lovely Singla, and other leaders of the Women Wing were present on the occasion.
The AAP leader said the overwhelming participation of women at events across various districts clearly showed their readiness to excel in every sector. “This programme is not just a formal ceremony; it is a celebration of every woman’s achievements,” she said.
She added that when women are provided the right platforms and support, they can drive major social transformation.
“Every woman here has an inspiring story—whether in entrepreneurship, education, or community service,” she noted, reaffirming the Punjab government’s commitment to turning women’s empowerment from a slogan into a practical reality.
Dr. Arora thanked all women entrepreneurs for contributing to the success of the government initiative.
