Railway sets up first-ever Joint Grievance Redressal Camp
Firozpur, July 23, 2025: In a unique and commendable initiative under the effective and visionary tutelage of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Sanjay Sahu, the Firozpur Division of Northern Railway organised its first-ever Joint Grievance Redressal Camp today at the IOW Office.
The camp was aimed at addressing issues related to the maintenance of railway colonies and staff quarters, providing employees and their families a platform to voice their concerns directly. Officials and supervisors from the Engineering, Electrical, and Medical departments were present to personally hear the grievances and also record them in writing for timely redressal on a priority basis.
The main objective of the camp was to provide a one-stop solution to staff-related issues across departments, eliminating the need for employees to visit multiple offices for resolution.
Continuing this initiative, similar grievance redressal camps was organised at IOW offices in Amritsar today and next in Ludhiana on July 28, and Jalandhar City on July 29.
This step not only reflects the administration's responsiveness and commitment but also highlights Northern Railway’s humane approach towards the well-being of its employees.
