Mohali: BJP candidate Sanjeev Vashisht files nomination papers

Mohali, January 29, 2022: Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Sanjeev Vashisht filed his nomination papers from the Mohali constituency along with three other members while following the instructions of the Election Commission.
Sanjeev Vashisht also performed Havan to receive blessings of victory from God. Later, he went to Sector 76 with selected party workers and filed nomination papers with the Returning Officer.
Sanjeev Vashisht's covering candidate is his wife Pooja. Sanjeev Vashisht is the most educated candidate in Mohali. Sanjeev Vashisht holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Bangalore in 1997.
After filing his nomination papers, Sanjeev Vashisht told reporters that people of Punjab are now boycotting Congress. Mohali Congress candidate Balbir Sidhu is also facing opposition as he has worked inefficiently, incompetently to resolve the burning issues. Congressmen will be seen fighting with each other very soon after the announcement of the Congress party's Chief Ministerial candidate.
Aam Aadmi Party candidate Kulwant Singh is trying to mislead people with false promises.
Sanjeev Vashisht alleged that Kulwant was rejected badly in municipal elections in 2021 and he lost from his ward by a margin of nearly 300 votes. People of his ward have rejected him.
Sanjeev Vashisht stressed once again he will not be accepted by the residents.
"Punjabis will not fall into that trap. Residents of Punjab have so far tested all the parties. Now the people of Punjab are eager to take Punjab on the path of progress by forming a double engine government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP," he said.
Sukhwinder Singh Goldy, BJP State Executive Member, Lakhwinder Kaur Garcha, Rakhi Pathak, President of BJP Division III, Sanjeev Joshi, General Secretary, Jaswinder Singh, President of Division II, Anil Guddu, President of Division I, Ashok, District Chief Minister of BJP were present on the occasion.
