Mohali, January 29, 2022: Kulwant Singh, candidate of Aam Aadmi Party from Mohali Assembly constituency while addressing election meetings in Bairopur, Bhagaomajra, and Bakarpur including many other villages said that Aam Aadmi Party is committed to bringing positive in society.
"Elections are not a way for the Aam Aadmi Party to come to power. For us, elections are not a way to interchange one party instead of another," he said.
He said that 70 years have passed, parties have been changing but nothing has changed, everything is as it is. The truth is that we have to change the whole corrupt system and bring an honest system.
He said that till now traditional political parties have been telling people that running a government is a very difficult task and to run a government, one has to be a little bit dishonest. But the AAP's Delhi government has proved that governments can be run honestly.
"The fact is that the governments of the traditional parties from time to time have not been able to improve the education and health system of Punjab in the 75 years since independence. The present Congress government has made false claims of education reforms by painting the walls of schools from social activists, NRIs, and NGOs but has not been able to bring about any positive change in schooling," he said.
Kulwant Singh said that the fight against corruption was similar to the fight for independence and we all have to work together and fight this election. Therefore, it has become imperative to support the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab by pressing the election symbol 'Broom' on the voting machine on 20th February.
