"Har Manukh Lave Ek Rukh" Tree Plantation Drive launched in Ferozepur
Under this campaign, over 6.5 lakh saplings will be planted across all six blocks of the district-Bhullar

Ferozepur, July 3, 2024: In a bid to make the district green, pollution-free, and provide clean air and water, MLA Ferozepur Urban Ranbir Singh Bhullar and Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman today launched the "Har Manukh Lave Ek Rukh" tree plantation drive at the historic Gurdwara Saragarhi Sahib.
Under this campaign, over 6.5 lakh saplings will be planted across all six blocks of the district, absolutely free of cost, in panchayat lands, public places, religious places, schools, and other educational institutions. Van Mitras will be appointed for the maintenance of these plants.
The drive aims to plant mini forests on over 60 acres of panchayat land in all blocks, featuring heritage trees like Peepal, Bohar, Neem, Tahli, Fruits plants and more. The campaign is an initiative of the Punjab Government and District Administration to make the district green and pollution-free.
MLA Bhullar and DC Dhiman appealed to the residents, panchayats, religious and voluntary organizations to make this campaign a success and contribute to the maintenance of these plants. Let's join hands to make our district a greener and healthier place.
