DGP Gaurav Yadav releases book on 'Police in New Avatar' authored by Assistant Professor Shaveta Sehgal

Chandigarh, July 5, 2024: Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav on Friday released the book on 'Police in New Avatar' by Dr. Professor Sheveta Sehgal, Assistant Professor, Political Science Department, Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib.
Dr. Professor Sheveta Sehgal shares that the book is about the positive roles played by the police in society.
"The role of police in its new avatar was especially observed during Covid-19. It was not possible to fight a dangerous disease like COVID-19 without police help," she said.
