Haryana CM Saini inaugurates 324 crèches across state on completion of 100 days of government
State government takes big initiative towards women and child welfare

Chandigarh, January 27, 2025 - Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today inaugurated 324 crèches across the state, taking a big initiative towards women and child welfare in the state.The aim of these centers is to provide assistance to working women in their field of work and to provide a nurturing and safe environment for their children.
The Chief Minister was addressing a press conference organized here today to mark the completion of 100 days of the third term of the Haryana Government. Cabinet Ministers Sh. Anil Vij, Sh. Vipul Goel, Sh. Shyam Singh Rana, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa, Smt. Shruti Choudhry and Deputy Speaker of Assembly Dr. Krishan Lal Middha were present on the occasion.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also mentioned other schemes being run by the government for the empowerment of women and children and said that the government is constantly striving to make Haryana a prosperous, strong and equality-based state.
He said empowering women by making them self-reliant is the priority of the government. To give more speed to the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaign, it has been decided to make all women Sarpanches the brand ambassadors of their villages.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 'Bima Sakhi Yojana' from Panipat to empower half of the country's population.
Under this, women will get a monthly salary of Rs 7,000 in the first year, Rs 6,000 in the second year and Rs 5,000 in the third year. Along with this, they will also get insurance commission and an additional incentive amount of Rs 2100 every month.
The Chief Minister said the state government is giving gas cylinders to poor families every month for only Rs 500 under the ‘Har Ghar-Har Grihini Yojana’ and 13.24 lakh families are continuously getting its benefits.
The government has increased the honorarium of Anganwadi workers by Rs 750 and the honorarium of assistants by Rs 400 per month.He said the Prime Minister had announced the launch of Lakhpati Didi Yojana on the occasion of Independence Day-2023.
Through this scheme, women of the state are being assisted in setting up micro enterprises by providing skill development training. A target has been set to make 5 lakh women 'Lakhpati Didi' in the state. So far, 1.85 lakh women have been made Lakhpati Didi.
The Chief Minister said the Haryana Government will provide drone pilot training to 5,000 women to carry forward the vision of ‘Namo Drone Didi’. So far, 100 women have been given free drones after training. They will be given drones worth up to Rs 8 lakh for free.
On this occasion, Chief Secretary Dr Vivek Joshi, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Sh. Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, Commissioner and Secretary, Department of Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture, Dr. Amit Kumar Agrawal, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Dr. Saket Kumar, Director General, Department of Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture, Sh. K Makarand Pandurang, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Sh. Tarun Bhandari and Media Secretary Sh. Praveen Attrey, along with administrative secretaries of other departments were present.
