Kejriwal writes to ECI, demands action against BJP for threatening AAP workers
New Delhi, February 2, 2025: Former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal has writeen to CEC Rajiv Kumar regarding repeated attacks and intimidation of AAP volunteers in the New Delhi assembly at the hands of BJP workers and Delhi Police.
He has put forth key Demands:
1.Independent election observers to be deployed in the New Delhi constituency.
2.Election Commission must ensure the safety of AAP volunteers.
3.Immediate suspension of police officers involved in such incidents.
4.Arrest BJP workers responsible for the attacks.
“Democracy cannot bow to violence and fear. Elections must remain free and fair!”
