NGO Coordination Society charts social initiatives, retains leadership for 2025-26
Ferozepur, February 9, 2025: The NGO Coordination Society Ferozepur, a collective of various social organizations engaged in community welfare, held its monthly meeting at Neel Kanth Mandir, where it unanimously decided to retain its existing executive committee for the year 2025-26. The leadership team includes Inderjit Singh Gogia as President, Mangat Ram as Secretary, Kamlesh Vohra as Cashier, and Harish Monga as Chairman.
During the meeting, the members outlined several upcoming social initiatives. One key decision was to support students in a remote area by providing them with eatables and stationery items, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to education and child welfare.
Additionally, to promote road safety awareness, the society resolved to install a flex board with a social message at a prominent location in the city. The message, such as "Avoid using mobile while driving to reduce road accidents," will be updated every fortnight with new awareness campaigns.
The society also discussed expanding its network by adding more members from other social organizations to enhance its outreach and impact. Furthermore, to strengthen camaraderie among members, it was decided to celebrate birthdays collectively, fostering a sense of unity within the organization.
Prominent attendees at the meeting included Inderjit Singh Gogia, Balwinder Singh Gogia, Kamlesh Vohra, Ashok Kumar, Mangat Ram, and A.C. Chawla. The NGO Coordination Society continues its mission to drive meaningful social change in Ferozepur through collaborative efforts and sustained initiatives.
