DSCW celebrates 29th Annual Fair-Alumni Meet
Ferozepur, February 16, 2025: Dev Samaj College for Women (DSCW) hosted its 29th Annual Fair and Alumni Meet with great enthusiasm,under the leadership of Chairman Nirmal Singh Dhillon and Principal Dr. Sangeeta.
The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Advocate Ajay Batta, Joint Secretary of the Dev Samaj Management Committee; Dr. Sunita Rangbula, committee member; Madam Pritpal Kaur, Coordinator of Dev Samaj Senior Secondary School; and Rajwinder Kaur, Principal of Dev Samaj Education College, Ferozepur. The Chief Guest, Divya P., IAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, praised the event, emphasizing its role in preserving cultural heritage and guiding the youth.
Adding to the event’s grandeur, special guests Ashok Behal, Secretary of the Red Cross Society, and Vivek Malhotra, Income Tax Officer, Ferozepur, attended the fair. They, along with college management and faculty, toured the various stalls featuring food, handicrafts, games, mehendi, swings, and horse riding.
In the second session, the Alumni Meet was highlighted by the presence of renowned Punjabi actress and former student, Deep Sehgal. She shared her journey, attributing her success in the Punjabi entertainment industry to the strong foundation she received at Dev Samaj College. The college honoured her, along with other distinguished alumni, with mementos.
The event also featured a Baby Show, where children showcased their talents, and winners were awarded prizes. The fair witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students and visitors enjoying cultural programs, ramp walks, and engaging activities.
