Ambala (Haryana), February 26, 2025: Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labor Minister, Anil Vij, led multiple public meetings in the Tangri Par area of Ambala Cantonment, campaigning for BJP’s Pradhan candidate Swarn Kaur and 32 councilor candidates contesting the Municipal Council elections.
Vij emphasized that he had been driving development efforts alone for years but now needs a strong team to accelerate progress. “I have tried to pull the chariot of development alone in Ambala Cantonment. Now, I need BJP’s chief and 32 councilors to ensure every street and neighborhood benefits,” he said.
He urged voters to support BJP candidates, stressing that with BJP in power at the center, state, and local levels, development would face no hurdles.

BJP’s Uncontested Strength
Vij asserted that no national or regional party dared to field candidates against BJP in the elections, leaving only a few independents in the fray. He credited his tenure for bringing long-overdue development projects, including roads, streetlights, and drainage systems.
Large crowds attended Vij’s public meetings, with several leaders from other parties joining BJP during the events.
