Shri Durga Mata Mandir, BRS Nagar extends support to MP Sanjeev Arora for Ludhiana West by-polls

Ludhiana (Punjab), March 13, 2025: The management of Shri Durga Mata Mandir (BRS Nagar) has officially extended its support to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora in the upcoming Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election.
Temple officials, including Chairman Ramesh Jagota, President Sunil Sharda, and General Secretary Harkesh Gupta, made the announcement on Thursday during Arora’s visit to the temple with his wife, Sandhya Arora. During his visit, Arora sought blessings, performed a havan at the Baglamukhi temple, and engaged with the temple committee.
Praising Arora’s dedication to public service, Ramesh Jagota highlighted his contributions to Ludhiana’s development and his deep-rooted social and religious commitments. He also noted that Arora is the first industrialist to contest from Ludhiana (West) and that the constituency’s voters have high expectations from him.
In his address, Arora outlined his key achievements as an MP over the past three years and emphasized his commitment to development-driven politics.
He assured the temple management that he would work towards resolving the temple land registry issue, which has been pending for 45 years, by arranging discussions with Ludhiana Improvement Trust officials and the Deputy Commissioner.
Arora also urged citizens to support Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s mission to eradicate drug addiction, stressing that a drug-free Punjab is crucial for the state’s future.
Municipal Councillor Amrit Varsha Rampal, present at the event, expressed confidence in Arora’s leadership, stating that his victory would transform "Ludhiana West into Ludhiana Best." Arora has pledged to develop Ludhiana into a model city if elected.
