Advocate Dhami agrees to continue as SGPC President after meeting with Sukhbir Badal; Watch Video

Amritsar (Punjab), March 18, 2025: After a crucial meeting with Former Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal today, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has agreed to withdraw his resignation and will soon resume his duties as the President of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC).
Dhami’s resignation was unanimously rejected by the SGPC Executive Committee yesterday, signaling strong internal support for his leadership.
Following discussions with Badal, Dhami has now decided to continue in his role, ensuring continuity in the functioning of the Sikh religious body.
