CLF Literati – Spring Edition 2025 on March 22 on theme of 'A Festival of Ideas'
Will feature sessions with renowned photographer Raghu Rai and many more 'literary stalwarts'
Book launches will also be a major attraction for literature aficionados

Chandigarh, March 17, 2025: The much-awaited Chandigarh Lit Fest(CLF) Literati – Spring Edition 2025, will be organized by the Chandigarh Literary Society (CLS), on March 22, 2025, at CII Headquarters, Sector 31, Chandigarh from 11 am onwards.
This one-day literary celebration based on the theme ‘A Festival of Ideas’ will bring together authors, artists, and intellectuals for thought-provoking discussions, storytelling, and creative inspiration. Entry is free for all.
Dr. Sumita Misra, Festival Director CLF Literati, Chairperson CLS and noted poet shared, “Literati has been a hub for literature lovers for over a decade. With this Spring Edition, we aim to deepen engagement between writers and readers.”

'A journey through the lens of time, Raghu Rai on his life' – A special session with legendary photographer Raghu Rai.
'Aesthetics and Identity: Exploring Indian Art and Heritage' – Author, curator & art historian Dr. Alka Pande discusses her life, body of work and the artistic representation of the divine feminine.
'For Better or Verse Echoes & Emotions' – A poetic celebration with renowned poet Sudeep Sen.
In 'Bravehearts of the Nation - Stories of Sacrifice & Resilience'– Lt Gen Satish Dua (Retired) brings forth inspiring tales of valour, shedding light on the extraordinary lives of India's armed forces. The launch of book 'Bravest of The Brave: The Inspiring Story of Naib Subedar Chunni Lal, AC, VrC, SM' by Lt Gen Satish Dua will also be held.
'The Silent Warrior: Life as a Soldier’s Family' – A heartfelt conversation on strength and sacrifice with Late Brigadier Lakhbinder Singh 'Toni' Lidder's wife Geetika Lidder and daughter Aashna Lidder is on the anvil.
Brigadier Lidder had lost his life in the 2021 Indian Air Force Mil Mi-17 crash along with the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS). Geetika Lidder has also penned a book ‘I am a Soldier's Wife -The Life and Love of Toni Lidder’.
In 'She-E-O Leading with Grit & Grace', authors Lochan Narayanan and Amrita Tripathi participate and share insights on the subject of ‘women CEOs breaking barriers and leading with impact’.
'Metaphors Be with You: The Power of Storytelling' – A compelling discussion on narratives with distinguished authors Neelkamal Puri and Manju Jaidka.
'Tears, Cheers & Fears: The Emotional Intelligence Survival Kit' – A thought-provoking session featuring Shivam, Aanchal Bedi, and Col. Sunil Prem.
'Naghme aur Nazm – Voices of the Soul', will witness a soulful exploration of poetry and expression with Kasturika Mishra, Gurdeep Kaur Gul, and Prem Vij.
In addition, the festival will also feature exclusive book launches, unveiling new works by celebrated authors.
It is noteworthy that CLS has been conducting the Chandigarh Lit Fest(CLF) for the past 13 years . An annual 2-day litfest 'CLF Literati' is organised in November and in the ensuing spring a more compact one day affair is held in the form of a CLF Literati - Spring Edition.
