  DC extends greetings on ‘Flag Day’, urges Nambardars to support Anti-Drug Campaign
  
  Ferozepur, March 26, 2025: Nambardars hold a crucial position in both government and society, playing a pivotal role in local administration and governance. This was emphasized by Deputy Commissioner Deepshikha Sharma, while addressing a gathering organized by the Punjab Nambardar Association (Galib) on the occasion of ‘Flag Day’ at the District Administrative Complex. The event was also attended by SDM Ferozepur, Divya P.V.
  
  During her address, the DC extended her warm greetings to all nambardars on ‘Flag Day’ and acknowledged their significant role in bridging the gap between the government and the people. She assured them that their contributions are valued and respected in official matters. The DC also took the opportunity to listen to their concerns and assured a fair resolution of their demands.
  
  Highlighting the state government’s initiative, ‘War Against Drugs,’ she called upon the nambardars to actively participate in the campaign and work closely with the district civil and police administration to eradicate the drug menace from society. Responding positively, the Nambardar Association pledged its full support, affirming their commitment to aiding the government’s mission in making Punjab drug-free.
  
  The association also lauded the Punjab government’s efforts in tackling drug abuse, reaffirming their dedication to working in tandem with authorities to bring about meaningful change.
