MP Sanjeev Arora dials LIT Chairman on the spot for prompt redressal of civic issues

Ludhiana (Punjab), April 12, 2025: Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora held a meeting with residents of the Rishi Enclave Welfare Society at Pink Flats, Rishi Nagar, Hambran Road, here this evening.
During the interaction, Society President Jaspal Singh informed Arora about various civic issues affecting the area. Responding promptly, Arora contacted Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) Chairman Tarsem Singh Bhinder over the phone, who assured immediate action.
Arora also committed to ensuring that any remaining work would be completed using funds from the MPLAD scheme.Residents applauded Arora's quick and proactive response to their concerns.
The meeting took place in a lush green park under the open sky. Impressed by the well-maintained environment, Arora praised the society for its dedication to greenery and environmental care. He emphasised the importance of such parks in promoting public health, stating that ensuring good health is as vital as keeping the city clean.
Arora also outlined the development work carried out during his three-year tenure as MP. He spoke about efforts to make Ludhiana neat, clean, and beautiful while fostering a healthy environment. Highlighting recent initiatives by the Municipal Corporation, he mentioned the early start of fogging and sewerage cleaning this year—measures aimed at preventing diseases like dengue and malaria.
Ludhiana Mayor Principal Inderjeet Kaur, also present at the event, praised Arora's achievements and appealed to residents to support him as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the upcoming Ludhiana (West) Assembly election.
“If we are seeking votes door to door, we will also work door to door,” she said, adding that Arora has a dynamic and visionary approach to the city's development.Municipal Councillor Indu Manish Shah also addressed the gathering.
