Ludhiana (Punjab), May 4, 2025: Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora received a warm reception from residents of Tagore Nagar (Block-A) during a breakfast meeting held at Krishna Park this morning.
Madan Goel, Secretary of the Tagore Nagar Welfare Society (Block-A), expressed gratitude to Arora for addressing most of their civic issues on the spot.
Concerns related to park beautification, traffic management, car parking, drainage and sewer cleaning, tree trimming, electrical safety, and garbage disposal were raised.
Arora immediately contacted relevant officials, including the Municipal Commissioner of Ludhiana, via phone, and discussed all the issues in detail. The officials assured swift action.
Municipal Councillor Bittu Bhullar highlighted Arora’s achievements over the past three years, remarking, “MP Arora is one of us and will always stand with us.” He added that Arora’s hands-on approach and refusal to make empty promises set him apart from traditional politicians. “He creates an instant impact,” Bhullar emphasized.
Local industrialist Roop Lal Jain recounted how industrial issues on Bahadur-Ke Road were resolved within days of being brought to Arora’s attention. He praised Arora’s leadership, stating that the entire Tagore Nagar family stands firmly behind him as the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the Ludhiana (West) Assembly constituency.
Mala Dhanda also applauded Arora’s vision for Ludhiana. She credited him with reviving many development projects that had been stalled for decades. Urging residents to vote, she said, “MP Arora will win Ludhiana (West) with a thumping majority.”
In his address, MP Sanjeev Arora reflected on his roots in Ludhiana and his long-standing desire to serve the city. “Since becoming an MP in 2022, I’ve worked hard to bring development despite having no direct commitment to voters. If elected as an MLA, I promise to work four times harder,” he said while presenting his three-year performance report.
Among those present at the event were municipal councillors Nidhi Gupta, Manu Jairath, and Bittu Bhullar; Mala Dhanda, Sanjeev Dhanda, and Neela Jain; Prof. Kharbanda, Yogesh Bansal, Sanjeev Verma, Avnish Jain, and Vinod Thapar. Arora’s family members, including Sandhya Arora, Kavya Arora, Ritesh Arora, Sakshi Arora, and Dr. Sulbha Jindal also attended the gathering.
