Mock Drill conducted at three locations in Chandigarh to enhance disaster preparedness

Chandigarh, May 7, 2025 – A mock drill was conducted today around 4 PM at three key locations in Chandigarh—Sector 17 Bus Stand, Piccadilly in Sector 34, and the Industrial Area—to promote awareness and preparedness for aerial attacks and other disaster scenarios.
The exercise was jointly carried out by Chandigarh Police with the active participation of volunteers from Sector 11 College, Khalsa College, and NSS student volunteers from 10 schools across the city.
The drill aimed to educate citizens on emergency response techniques and self-protection measures during crises, reinforcing the city’s disaster management readiness.
