Samana: Seven students, driver killed in tragic road accident, Sukhbir Badal condoles loss of lives

Samana (Patiala), May 7, 2025 — In a heartbreaking incident, seven students from Bhupindera International School, Patiala, lost their lives in a tragic road accident when their car collided with a truck in Samana. The crash also claimed the life of the car’s driver.
Authorities have confirmed that several other students were injured in the accident and have been rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Expressing grief over the tragedy, leaders and community members extended their condolences to the bereaved families.
“Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of seven students from Bhupindera International School, Patiala, in a tragic accident of their car with a truck in Samana, which also claimed the life of the car driver. May their souls rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. I also wish speedy and complete recovery to those injured in the accident,” expressed SAD Chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on X.
The local administration has launched an investigation into the cause of the collision, while rescue and support efforts are underway to assist the affected families.
