Gurdaspur: Raman Bahl visits Pandher village, praises border residents' courage

Gurdaspur (Punjab), May 7, 2025 — Following reports of bomb fragments falling in Pandher village in Gurdaspur constituency during the Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor last night, Punjab Health Systems Corporation Chairman Raman Bahl visited the village today to assess the situation and meet local residents.
Speaking to the media, Chairman Bahl expressed solidarity with the residents and lauded their unwavering support for the Indian Army.
“The entire nation is united in this fight against terrorism, and we are immensely proud of our Indian Army and brave soldiers,” he said. “All 140 crore Indians stand firmly behind our forces.”
Bahl highlighted the longstanding bravery of the people of Gurdaspur district, emphasizing that they have consistently stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the army, offering encouragement and support to the soldiers. “Even in the face of this tense situation, I salute the spirit and resilience of the border residents, who are always ready to stand with the Indian Army,” he added.
Issuing a strong message to Pakistan, Bahl warned, “Pakistan should immediately stop its nefarious activities. If it fails to do so, India is fully prepared to give a fitting reply.”
