  Washington D.C., May 10, 2025 — In a major diplomatic breakthrough, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that India and Pakistan have agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire following a long night of negotiations mediated by the United States.
  
  “After a long night of talks mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire,” President Trump stated.
