32 Airports reopen for civil flights: Airport Authority of India

Chandigarh, May 12, 2025: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has announced the reopening of 32 airports temporarily closed for civil aircraft operations due to airspace restrictions.
The closure, which was in effect until 5:29 AM on May 15, 2025, has now been lifted with immediate effect.
The AAI advised travelers to confirm flight schedules directly with airlines and stay updated via official airline websites, as operations resume across the affected northern and north-western regions.These airports were temporarily shut due to airspace restrictions following heightened tensions with Pakistan.
