Punjab Sikhiya Kranti : Govt committed to raising education standards to global level – MLA Bhullar
Ferozepur, May 16, 2025: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, the Punjab Government is making consistent efforts to transform the state’s education system to international standards. This was stated by Ferozepur City MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar during the inauguration of multiple development works at government schools under the ‘Punjab Education Revolution’ campaign.
The inauguration ceremonies were held at Government Primary School Jhugge Kesar Singh, City School, Central Jail School, Government Primary Model School, and Government Senior Secondary School (Boys), Ferozepur.
MLA Bhullar, accompanied by District Education Officer (Secondary) Mrs. Muneela Arora, Deputy DEO (Elementary) Komal Arora, BPEO Ranjit Singh, and BPEO Mrs. Sumandeep Kaur, emphasized that major improvements in the quality of government schools have led to increased competition for admissions.
He asserted that the Punjab Government is working tirelessly to raise the standard of education, recognizing it as the key tool to empower individuals, create awareness of their rights, and bring about positive social transformation. “An educated society lays the foundation of a strong and empowered nation,” he added.
Bhullar also highlighted that continuous upgrades in infrastructure and teaching environments are being carried out in government schools. He appealed to parents to prioritize education and consider enrolling their children in government institutions, which are now equipped with modern facilities and high-quality teaching.
The event reflected Punjab Government’s strong focus on educational development and its aim to make quality education accessible to every child in the state.
