Harbhajan Singh leads roadshow in Ludhiana, rallies support for AAP's Sanjeev Arora

Ludhiana (Punjab), June 9, 2025 — Cricketer-turned-Rajya Sabha MP Harbhajan Singh hit the campaign trail in Ludhiana (West) on Sunday, leading two energetic roadshows and addressing a public rally in support of AAP candidate and fellow Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora ahead of the upcoming Assembly by-election.
Drawing large and enthusiastic crowds at every stop, Harbhajan Singh praised Arora’s commitment to the city’s development. “I’ve seen Sanjeev Arora personally approaching union ministers to push forward projects for Ludhiana. His dedication is unmatched,” Singh said, calling Arora one of the most involved leaders he has encountered in his political career.
Harbhajan added, “His concern for Ludhiana is genuine. Once elected, people will see a new pace of development across the city.”
Sharing his experience from the roadshows, Harbhajan noted a strong pro-Arora sentiment among voters. “The energy in the streets today shows the people’s clear support for Sanjeev Arora. I look forward to returning soon to celebrate his win,” he said.
Appealing to voters, the former India spinner urged them to rally behind Arora. “A vote for him is a vote for Ludhiana’s brighter, faster-growing future,” he declared.
Sanjeev Arora expressed heartfelt thanks, calling Harbhajan Singh’s support a major morale booster. “His presence shows that we are on the right path. I urge everyone to vote in large numbers and bring their families and friends too,” said Arora.
