Guizhou, China – June 25, 2025 — More than 48,000 residents have been evacuated from China’s Guizhou province as days of relentless rainfall triggered severe flooding, landslides, and widespread devastation. Rivers have overflowed their banks, submerging entire towns and cutting off access to several communities.
The worst-hit areas include Congjiang and Rongjiang counties, where local authorities issued emergency warnings urging immediate evacuation from low-lying regions.
