- Punjab Vidhan Sabha passes Punjab State Development Tax Amendment Bill 2025

  Chandigarh, July 14, 2025 – The Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Monday passed the Punjab State Development Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2025.
  
  The Bill was presented in the House by the Punjab Finance Minister during the ongoing session.The amendment aims to bring necessary changes to the existing development tax structure in the state.
  
  The details of the revisions and their impact on taxpayers are expected to be shared by the finance department soon.
