  Chandigarh, July 14, 2025 –The Punjab Appropriation Acts (Repeal) Bill, 2025 was passed in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Monday.The bill was presented in the House by Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema.
  
  The legislation aims to repeal outdated appropriation acts that are no longer relevant, thereby streamlining the state’s legislative framework and improving legal clarity in financial matters.
