High Court grants interim relief to MLA Raman Arora's son

Chandigarh, July 16, 2025: In a major development, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted interim relief to Rajan Arora, son of Patiala Central MLA Raman Arora, who is currently lodged in jail in connection with a corruption case.
As per the court's directions, Rajan Arora cannot be arrested by the police until September 24, 2025.The High Court made it clear that this interim protection is conditional. Rajan Arora must extend full cooperation to the police during the ongoing investigation.
Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of this relief. The court emphasized that any lack of cooperation will lead to the cancellation of the interim protection granted to him.
It is worth noting that earlier, MLA Raman Arora had also moved the court seeking regular bail in the same case. However, his request was rejected by the court.
