Chandigarh Royale City Director, officials booked

Mohali (Punjab), July 23, 2025 — The Mohali Police have registered a case against Anurag Minda, Director of Chandigarh Royale City Promoters Private Limited, along with company officials Liaqat Ali, Daljeet Singh, and Sumit Bansal, in connection with alleged fraud and criminal conspiracy linked to the development of a residential colony.
The case pertains to a 77.87-acre housing project in Karala village, located in the Dera Bassi area. Based on a formal complaint filed by the Senior Accounts Officer of the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), the accused have been charged under Sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.
