Train full of passengers catches fire, many injured

Sirhind, October 18, 2025: Saharsa bound Amritsar-Saharsa Garib Rath today cought fire here. As soon as it crossed Sirhind smoke was seen coming out from bogey number G 19. Loco Pilot applied emergency brake and fire was doused by railway officials. On the occassion some passengers jumped out of train and suffered injuries. Though no one seriously injured.
As soon as incident was noticed, swinging into action, Railway authorities shifted the passengers immediately to the other coaches and the fire was also extinguished quickly. The train will depart to its destination shortly. No casualties. Time of incident 7.30am.
