DSCW wins Overall Trophy at 66th Panjab University Zonal Youth-Heritage Festival
Ferozepur, October 30, 2025: Dev Samaj College for Women, Ferozepur (Zone Code: CEB), an A+ Grade accredited institution of Panjab University, Chandigarh, has added another feather to its cap by winning the Overall Trophy at the 66th Panjab University Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival (2025).
Under the blessings of Shriman Nirmal Singh Dhillon Ji, guidance of Dr. Agnees Dhillon (Chairperson), and leadership of Ajay Batta (Secretary) and Dr. Sangeeta (Principal), the college continues to progress remarkably in academic, social, and cultural spheres.
The four-day festival was held from October 27 to 30, 2025, at Guru Nanak College for Women, Moga, where 35 affiliated colleges of Panjab University participated in various cultural and heritage competitions.
This year, the college’s students participated in 59 competitions, securing victories in 39 events, including 23 first prizes, 10 second prizes, and 6 third prizes, along with 15 individual awards. Their energetic performances and artistic excellence led them to clinch the festival’s top honour — the Overall Trophy.
Principal Dr. Sangeeta congratulated the students for their outstanding achievement, attributing their success to hard work and sincerity. “Every effort made with dedication ensures success in life,” she remarked, urging students to continue upholding the college’s name in future as well.  She also appreciated Madam Palwinder Kaur, Dean of Cultural Affairs, for her commendable contribution to the college’s cultural growth.
Dev Samaj College for Women, Ferozepur, has once again demonstrated its excellence in both academics and cultural activities, setting new milestones in the Panjab University circuit.
