  Chandigarh, January 16, 2026: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan today sought urgent intervention of Prime Minister as due to Iran crisis more than Rs. 2000 crore shipment of Basmati Exporters have been stuck, their payments have been stalled and mandi prices are crashing.
  
  He urged Prime Minister of urgent intervention which is needed to protect farmers, millers & exporters. This delay is hurting Punjab’s economy.
