Republic Day 2026: Haryana Govt releases district-wise list of flag hoisting dignitaries

Chandigarh, January 20, 2026: The Haryana Government has issued the official schedule of dignitaries who will hoist the National Flag and preside over Republic Day celebrations on January 26, 2026, at district and subdivision levels across the state.
The traditional ‘At Home’ programme will be held at Lok Bhawan, Chandigarh. As per the schedule, the National Flag will be hoisted at 10:00 a.m. at all divisions, districts, sub-divisions, tehsils, and other prominent locations across Haryana.
According to a letter released by the Chief Secretary’s Office, Governor of Haryana Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh will hoist the National Flag at Panchkula, while Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini will preside over the state-level Republic Day function at Gurugram.
At the district level, Rajya Sabha Member Smt. Rekha Sharma will hoist the flag at Ambala, Cabinet Minister Sh. Ranbir Gangwa at Bhiwani, MP Sh. Dharambir Singh at Charkhi Dadri, and Health Minister Smt. Arti Singh Rao at Faridabad. Deputy Speaker Sh. Krishan Lal Middha will hoist the flag at Fatehabad, while Union Minister Sh. Manohar Lal will do so at Hansi.
School Education Minister Sh. Mahipal Dhanda will hoist the flag at Hisar, Minister of State Sh. Rajesh Nagar at Jhajjar, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Shruti Choudhry at Jind, and MP Sh. Naveen Jindal at Kaithal. Speaker of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha Sh. Harvinder Kalyan will preside over celebrations at Karnal, while SEWA Minister Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi will hoist the flag at Kurukshetra.
Further, Industries Minister Sh. Rao Narbir Singh will hoist the flag at Mahendragarh, MP Sh. Subhash Barala at Nuh, Rajya Sabha MP Sh. Ram Chander Jangra at Palwal, and Development and Panchayats Minister Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar at Panipat. Cooperation Minister Sh. Arvind Kumar Sharma will hoist the flag at Rohtak, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Sh. Vipul Goel at Sirsa, Agriculture Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana at Sonipat, and Energy Minister Sh. Anil Vij at Yamunanagar.
At the subdivision level, various MLAs, MPs, Mayors, Zila Parishad Chairpersons, Divisional Commissioners, and Sub-Divisional Officers will preside over Republic Day functions across tehsils and subdivisions, ensuring widespread public participation in the celebrations.
