IFCT hosts ‘Bright Beginnings 2026’ Art and Craft Exhibition in Mohali

Chandigarh, January 20, 2026: North India’s first industry-led fashion school, the Institute of Fashion & Communication Technology (IFCT), hosted “Bright Beginnings 2026”, a grand art and craft exhibition showcasing the creative talent of its students and faculty members at the institute’s campus in Kharar, Mohali.
The exhibition celebrated creativity, craftsmanship, innovation, and design thinking, featuring a diverse range of works including mixed-media art, textile creations, handcrafted décor, illustrations, sculptures, installations, and experimental design pieces. The displays reflected months of rigorous academic training, studio practice, and creative exploration, highlighting IFCT’s strong focus on experiential learning.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Neha Miglani, Founder & Director, IFCT, said, “Bright Beginnings is not just an exhibition; it is a celebration of hard work, discipline, imagination, and mentorship. I am extremely proud of our faculty for their dedication and of our students for producing such outstanding work.”
Students presented an impressive variety of creations such as crochet models, embroidered paintings, water and oil colour artworks, decorative diyas, hand-painted dupattas, bags, and other design projects, offering visitors a glimpse into their creative journey and technical skills.
Sharing her experience, Nimrat, a second-year BSc Fashion Design student, said that the exhibition provides a powerful platform to showcase a year’s worth of hard work and boosts confidence by offering real-world exposure as emerging designers.
