JSW to invest Rs. 1500 crore in Steel plant: Sanjeev Arora

Chandigarh, February 21, 2026: Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora today disclosed that JSW group will invest Rs. 1500 crore in Steel Plant at Rajpura.
He disclosed that he had a good meeting with dynamic industrialist Sajjan Jindal, a visionary leader steering one of India’s leading multi-business conglomerates with a strong commitment to nation-building and philanthropy.
He said that Jindal has assured an investment of ₹1,500 crore in the steel sector, along with further investments across various verticals of the JSW Group. This marks a significant step towards strengthening industrial growth and generating employment opportunities in Punjab.
