2 Day prediabetes-Type 2 diabetes Workshop on Feb 25-26 at Harmony College
Diabetes can be effectively managed through timely care and lifestyle changes with Ayurveda - Dr Sahil Guleria
Ferozepur, February 23, 2026: A two-day special Seminar and Camp on “Prediabetes-Type 2 Diabetes” will be organized at the Harmony Ayurvedic College and Hospital on February 25 and 26, said Dr Sahil Guleria, BAMS, MD (Ayu).
A meeting for the success of the Camp and Seminar was also held today in the college campus which witnessed the presence of several dignitaries including P.D. Sharma, Harish Kumar, Raju Khanna, Smt. Choudhary, Paramjit Kaur Sodhi along with other eminent guests.
On the occasion, the Chairman of the college, Dharampal Bansal, and Principal Smt. Suman Lata warmly welcomed all the guests and expressed their gratitude for participating in the seminar.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sahil Guleria of the college shared his views on diabetes in a very impressive manner. He explained the causes, symptoms and preventive measures of the disease, and provided detailed information on how diabetes can be effectively managed through timely care and lifestyle changes through Indian traditional Ayurveda treatment.
He said, during this camp, free consultation by expert doctors, free check-ups for common diseases, free sample medicines as per need, and free diet guidance for a healthy life will be provided to patients. He said, a follow up of patients detected for diabetes will also be made, to help them to maintain a balanced diet and live a comfortable life.
To ensure maximum public participation, various social service organisations have been appealed to motivate the general public to take advantage of this camp. All those present extended their full support to the initiative.
