Punjab Human Rights Commission conducts surprise check at Government hospital Sector 32

Chandigarh, February 24, 2026: Punjab Human Rights Commission member Jatinder Singh Shunty conducted surprise checking at Government Medical College Hospital Sector 32 during which glaring incident came to light. A lady patient had died in the hospital but still relatives of patient were giving ventilation to her through Ambu pupm.
When Jatinder Singh Shunty asked the hospital staff to check whether she was alive, they told him that patient was already dead but they still to declare her dead.
