  Chandigarh, February 25, 2026: UPSC has asked Punjab government to send a panel of three names for appointment of permanent DGP in Punjab. This has been reported by Times of India in a report. According to report, UPSC has sent letter to Punjab Chief Secretary citing orders of Supreme Court in this regard and has asked him to send panel within 10 days.
