Bathinda, 25 February
In an effort to reinforce the law and order situation in the district and ensure the safety of its residents, Jyoti Yadav Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bathinda carried out a night naka (checkpoint) inspection at the Doomwali Haryana-Punjab border.
The initiative reflects the district police's commitment to maintaining peace and security across the region.
The inspection took place during late-night hours, as the SSP Jyoti Yadav visited various checkpoints established across the district.
These nakas are strategically positioned to monitor and control the movement of vehicles and individuals, particularly in sensitive border areas. The primary objective of such checks is to deter criminal activities, enhance public safety, and ensure strict compliance with the law.
During the visit, the SSP interacted with police personnel stationed at the nakas. The officers were briefed on their responsibilities and given specific instructions to carry out their duties with heightened alertness and vigilance. DSP (R) Harvinder Singh was present at the Nakas.
The SSP emphasized the importance of strict monitoring and urged the teams to remain proactive in addressing any suspicious activity.
Such efforts are part of a broader strategy to strengthen security measures in the district. By conducting regular inspections and ensuring that police personnel remain diligent in their duties, the authorities aim to foster a sense of safety and trust among the public.
The SSP's initiative has been well-received by residents, who appreciate these proactive measures to ensure their safety. The police department remains committed to maintaining law and order, with plans to continue such inspections in the future to safeguard the community.
